Blogger and the color grey

Every now and then, and it seems pretty random, Google blogger will seem to have a problem with html or CSS code I've used thousands of times. For instance, today there seems to be a problem with the color "grey." Always worked before. "Gray" seems to work (until blogger automatically wants to turn it back into "grey"), but "grey" seems not to. The work around I've used temporarily (I hope) is to get the actual numbered code for the colors. That still seems to work, for the most part, and you can be more creative with the colors too.
